Robert L. Kraft, a beloved member of Greenwood, passed away on December 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 11, 1940, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to George Kraft II and Bonnie Kraft.
Robert dedicated his life to a successful career with Ford Motor Company, where he worked tirelessly for an impressive 44 years before retiring. His commitment and work ethic were remarkable, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues throughout his tenure.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Robert proudly served in the US Air Force during his younger years. His military service reflects his loyalty and dedication to the country he called home.
Beyond his professional and military endeavors, Robert was a man of many interests and hobbies. He had a deep love for fishing, and the often trips to the casino, where he would embrace the thrill of chance.
Robert was survived by his daughters, Lesa Mason, Bobbi (Chris) Archer, and Bonnie Disman; grandchildren, R.J. Norton III, Robert Norton, Anthony Norton, Jordan Moose, Cody Mason, Guner Mason, Brittany Smith, and Brianna Disman.
He is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Brook Disman; great-granddaughter, Karlee Mason, as well as his brother, George Kraft Jr., affectionately known as Junior.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel located at 2433 E. Main St., on January 3, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. We will go to Forest Lawn Memory Garden where military honors will be held at 2:30 PM.
Robert L. Kraft will forever be remembered for his dedication, warm heart, and love for his family. He touched the lives of many during his time with us and his memory will live on in the hearts of all those fortunate enough to have known him.
