Robert E. Higgins Jr., affectionately known as Bob, passed away on September 10, 2024, in Fishers, Indiana, at the age of 69. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he graduated from North Central High School in 1973 and spent his career in customer service and retail, enriching the lives of those he interacted with through his humor and quick wit.
Bob's life was a blockbuster hit, especially when he was in his element; reviewing movies, with the sharpness of Siskel and warmth's of Ebert, or belting out tunes at karaoke nights. A poet at heart, he composed life's soundtrack with laughter, rhyme, and the occasional off-key note for good measure.
Surviving Bob's final act are his daughter Neesa Nicole Higgins; his co-star niece, Olivia Williams; and a cast of characters who made his life's story one for the ages. Preceding him in the great green room were his wife, Sandra Higgins; father, Robert E. Higgins Sr; mother, Audrey Higgins; supporting actress, sister Brenda Paz; and the brief cameo of great-niece Kylie N. Williams.
Cue the spotlight on Indiana Funeral Care in Indianapolis, Indiana, overseeing the production of Bob's grand exit. An encore performance celebrating Bob’s unforgettable script in life will be announced in upcoming previews.
Bob's final review: a life well-loved, well-laughed, and well-lived. Curtain down, applause up; now saddle up and hit the trail, saddle up like Roy and Dale!
