Robert Daggett Gould

Robert Daggett Gould passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2026. Rob was born on July 12, 1972 and died in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He graduated from North Central High School and attended Ball State University. Rob moved to Minnesota where he first enrolled at Inver Hills Community College and then graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA degree in Business and Computer Science. Rob spent more than a third of his life in Minnesota, where he built a community of lifelong friends who became like family.

Rob returned to Indianapolis in 2016, where he continued to hone his IT career. He was a devoted friend, a great listener, and an excellent communicator. Rob so enjoyed spending time at the Gould family island in Pointe-au-Baril, Ontario during his summer breaks. He had a loving and tender heart, especially for animals, including his beloved dog, Izzy. He also had a compassionate spirit and volunteered at food pantries, supporting causes for those in need.

As a boy, he could skate with the best of them, playing hockey in the Indianapolis Youth Hockey Association. Music was a significant part of Rob's life; he attended countless concerts and DJ'd at many gatherings to share his passion with others.

Rob is survived by his parents, Lizette Bennett and Jack (Susie) Gould. He is also survived by his step-sister, Kristi Wilkerson and step-brother, Chad(Courtney) Morin, and their families. Rob is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his loving step-father, Rob Bennett.

Donations in memory of Rob may be made to the charity of your choice. A celebration of life will be held on August 1, 2026 from 2:00 - 5:00PM at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
