Robert Dean Burdine, 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Majestic Care of Southport in Indianapolis.
He was born on August 4, 1959, in Pompano Beach, Florida to the late George Edward and Bernita Opal (Conrad) Burdine. He attended Manuel High School in Indianapolis. He was a painter with Local 47 Painter’s Union during his career.
He is survived by his daughter, April Bertrand; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bertrand, Kalob Bertrand, Kaidon Bertrand, Kiley Bertrand; siblings, Jeannie L. Burdine and George E. Burdine Jr.; nieces, Marsha, Christina, Kimberly, Mindy; nephew, George III and many great nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a shy, quiet man with very little to say who tended to be a loner and enjoyed this lifestyle very much. He and his brother George would sometimes take quiet drives together enjoying the peace and scenery and just hanging out. He was known by his family as a momma’s boy his whole life and experienced great loss when his mother passed years before.
