Born on October 7, 1935, in Indianapolis, Bob lived a life characterized by quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering love for those close to him.
Bob was married to his beloved wife Sylvia for 63 years, a partnership marked by deep mutual respect and affection until her passing. Their marriage was the cornerstone of his life, and his dedication as a husband was mirrored in his role as a father and grandfather. He is lovingly remembered by his three surviving daughters, Janet (Leroy) Mullins, Rhonda Dolph, and Gayle Decker, who carry forward his legacy of compassion and humility. He was also a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, a great-grandfather to eleven great grandchildren, and a great-great-grandfather to three, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Bob served his country with honor in the Army, a testament to his commitment and sense of duty. Beyond his military service, he nurtured a love for reading and spent countless hours enjoying the company of his family.
