Richard D. Zordan, PhD

Richard Zordan, age 76, of Carmel, IN, died on December 8, 2023.  He was born in 1947 in Rockford, IL to Anthony and Rose Zordan.  Rick is survived by his loving wife, Susan, and their son, Michael.  He is also survived by his brother, Thomas Zordan (Barbara), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Rick attended Carnegie Mellon University for undergraduate and graduate school.  He had a successful career as a metallurgist in the aerospace industry, working for companies such as Rolls Royce, Praxair and Belcan.  His interests included  motorcycles, music, photography and cars.  He had a broad sense of humor and loved a good pun.

A memorial service to celebrate Rick's life will be held at a later date providing an opportunity for friends and family to remember and honor his legacy.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  May his soul rest in eternal peace.
