Richard Newton, a man of immense talent and deep compassion, passed away on September 23, 2023, in Fishers, Indiana. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 19, 1940 to Clyde and Ruth Newton. Richard was a beloved husband to Suzanne and a loving father to Timothy (deceased), Pamela (Jamie), Scott (Diana), and Todd. He also had the privilege of being a stepfather to Amanda (Micah), Anne, and Amy (Phil). Richard's presence will be sorely missed by his sister Renee. His remarkable life touched the hearts of many who knew him.

Richard began his journey as a missionary with Native Americans at a young age. His time spent in this role allowed him to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures. Richard's experiences during those years shaped the compassionate and understanding nature that he would carry throughout his life.

A talented salesman by profession, Richard possessed an extraordinary ability to engage with others effortlessly. He had an uncanny gift for making connections and building relationships wherever he went. Richard never knew a stranger; he treated every person he encountered with kindness and respect.

Richard had an unwavering spirit of generosity and selflessness. He always put others before himself and was constantly thinking about ways he could help those around him. His acts of kindness were endless, as Richard never uttered the word "no" when someone sought his assistance.

One of Richard's most endearing qualities was his genuine concern for others' well-being. He took the time to pray for everyone in his life daily. Richard believed in the power of prayer and found solace in connecting with a higher power.

Beyond his remarkable character traits, Richard was a cherished friend to many. The memories shared with him will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him intimately. Richard had an infectious laughter that lit up any room he entered.

To honor his memory and pay tribute to the incredible life he lived, visitation services will take place on October 1, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at IFC in Indianapolis, located at 8151 Allisonville Rd. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the same location. These events will serve as an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share their cherished memories of Richard, and find solace in each other's presence.

Richard Newton's legacy of kindness, compassion, and selflessness will continue to inspire all who knew him. His remarkable life serves as a reminder that we should always strive to be more like him – giving of ourselves unconditionally and embracing the true beauty of human connection.

In this time of grief and profound loss, let us celebrate Richard's life and the impact he had on each of us. As we say our final goodbyes, let us carry his memory in our hearts forever. May he find eternal peace in the embrace of his loved ones who have passed before him. Richard's spirit lives on through the love he shared and the lives he touched.
