He was born on Saturday, February 13, 1960, to Wanda Faye (Herald) Barks in Franklin, Indiana. Richard’s hobby was collecting collectable items over the years.
He is survived by Kelly G. Short, Harmonie Short, Sam Short, Miranda Short, Kelly Short, and Dave (Lee Ann) Herald.
Richard is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Barks.
Memorial visitation is Friday, April 12, 2024, 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
Memorial service will begin at 4:00 pm.
