Richard E. Hardcastle Sr.

Richard E. Hardcastle Sr., affectionately known as Ricky, was born on July 8, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He departed this life on December 2, 2025, in his beloved hometown, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Ricky was a devoted son, brother, father, and friend. He was the beloved son of Oma Sue Hardcastle and the late James William Hardcastle Sr., who now welcomes him into eternal rest alongside his brother, the late James William Hardcastle Jr., and another brother, the late Kevin Lee Hardcastle.

Ricky leaves behind three children; Stephanie Hardcastle, Cheyenne Gill, and Richard Hardcastle Jr., who were the light of his life. He is also survived by two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Ricky's bonds with his siblings were strong and enduring. He is survived by his brothers William and Paul Hardcastle, as well as his sisters Candy (John) Gregory, Amanda Hardcastle, and Nikki Hardcastle, all of whom carry forward his spirit and warmth.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but the memories created over the years will unfailingly keep his spirit alive in the hearts of his family and friends. Ricky's legacy is one of love, resilience, and a commitment to family, qualities that will be remembered and celebrated in the time to come.
