Richard Alonzo Pruitt

Richard Alonzo Pruitt was born December 16, 1955, to the late Fred Alonzo and Ethel Mae Pruitt, Indianapolis, Indiana. Richard attended Capitol Avenue Seventh Day Adventist School and Cicero Indiana Academy. He graduated from Shortridge High School in 1973. Richard had a wonderful career working for McGraw Hill-WRTV as a Production Technician until illness concluded his career. Richard was joined in holy matrimony to Patricia Ann Brown July 6, 1974. From this union, they were blessed with two loving children, Danielle, and Markus. Richard enjoyed sitting on his front porch talking to friends and neighbors. He also loved all sports, wildlife, and nature.
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted, loving wife: Patricia A. Pruitt, daughter: Danielle P. West (Shaun), son: Markus A. Pruitt (Teena), sister: Sandra L. Mumphey, brother: Fred Wesley Pruitt (Marty), 5 grandchildren: London A. Pruitt, Alaina S. West, Elijah J. Pruitt, Leah N. West, Nylah Jo Pruitt and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death, sister; Betty L Pruitt.
