Rex Boswell

Rex Foster Boswell of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away with family and friends by his side, on October 26, 2023 at the age of 66.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Jennifer Eastridge; his siblings, Roger Boswell (and Pam) of Texas, Sue (and Ed) Donahue of Washington, Andrew (and Dawn) Boswell of Indianapolis; and his dog, Bailey.

Rex's careers have spanned from construction, sales and business owner of a transportation services company. He graduated from North Central High School, Indianapolis in 1975.

He earned a Baccalaureate degree in Geology from Ball State University, Muncie Indiana in 1979 and was a proud alumni of the Sigma Phi Epsilon (SigEp) Fraternity.

Rex loved his involvement with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He was also very proud of his participation in the Indiana Children's Wish Foundation.

Rex loved all manner of outdoor recreation and especially loved visiting geological sites and being out on the water.

He was a one-of-a-kind, loving stepfather and steadfast friend and brother. He loved his family and friends and was always there to listen and joke. He will be dearly missed.

There will be a visitation and memorial service on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. The visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm with the service to follow at 1:00pm.
