Rebecca Jean Short

Rebecca (Becky) Jean Short (McManama) passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 77, at Allisonville meadows in Fishers, IN. She was born on January 9^th, 1946, in Lafayette, IN. Rebecca was a beloved mother, aunt, and friend.

Rebecca is survived by her loving child; Sarah Elizabeth Fruth, sister; Barbara Hetrick (Melvin), brother; Steve McManama, niece Beth Jarrett (Jeff), great nephew; Connor, and great niece; Allison.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents Duane and Roberta McManama and sister Jill Martin.

Rebecca worked in medical billing and insurance for over 30 years before semi-retiring and becoming a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, shopping, visiting with friends, traveling, collecting teddy bears and had a wonderful sense of humor.
