Rebecca Harston

Rebecca "Becky" Harston, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024. Becky was born in Scottsville, KY to S.C. and Margaret Harston on May 17, 1959, but lived most of her life in the Indianapolis area. Becky put herself through college in adulthood and obtained a bachelor's, then master's degree, all while working full-time and raising her daughter. She loved books, puzzles, the beach, Scrabble, and most of all, her grandsons. Her generous and loyal spirit will forever be remembered by her friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter Emily (Ben) Hale, grandchildren Oliver and Adam Hale, brother Mark (Val) Harston, brother Matthew (Sandra) Harston, sister Melissa (Greg) Shy, nephew A.J. (Autumn) Harston, niece Katie Harder, and nephew Robert (Janette) Harston. Becky was preceded in death by her parents.

Private family services will be held on Friday, May 17th, on what would have been Becky's 65th birthday. She will be deeply missed.
