Raymond Bruce Graham, born on November 09, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on August 11, 2026, surrounded by the love and legacy of his family. He lived a life marked by devotion to God, family, country and the many pursuits that brought him joy.
Bruce proudly served in the United States Navy and was stationed in Japan during his military service. While there, he met the love of his life, Fumiko Nomura, whom he married in Japan. Their remarkable love story lasted 74 years and was a shining example of commitment, partnership, and unconditional love. Fumiko Graham passed away on February 10, 2025, leaving a profound void in Bruce's life. She remained the love of his life.
After his military service, Bruce worked for many years as a printer in Detroit, Michigan, where he built a successful career through hard work and dedication. Following Bruce’s retirement as a printer, he moved to Indiana to begin his next adventure in the pizza business, and soon became co-founder of Gramboli’s Pizza, beginning another chapter filled with family and entrepreneurship.
Bruce was also an accomplished private pilot, having earned his pilot's license and enjoyed the freedom and adventure of flying. His curiosity, determination, and love of learning were reflected in the many interests he pursued throughout his life.
Above all else, Bruce cherished his family. Together, Bruce and Fumiko raised seven children: Raymond C. Graham (Diana), Cathy J. Graham-Coleman, Richard B. Graham, Steven W. Graham (Reba), Jeffery J. Graham (Pamela), Anthony P. Graham (Donna), Patricia J. Wheatley-Annarino (Anthony Annarino). Their family grew to include 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by Bruce's guidance, humor, and love.
Bruce is survived by all seven of his children, his 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren. And 2 great-great grandchildren. His legacy lives on through the generations of family who will forever treasure the values, memories, and love he shared with them.
Bruce's life was one of service, hard work, adventure, and unwavering devotion to family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
