Ray Milton Crowe

On Saturday, December 4, 2021, Ray Milton Crowe, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away at the age of 82, surrounded by his family at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis, IN. He was born in Owensboro, KY, on April 26, 1939, to Ray Hillsman Crowe and Amelia Catherine (Poole) Crowe.

Ray graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1957 and worked for Ransburg Corporation. He later painted homes with his brother, Tom. Ray was a West Newton United Methodist Church member in Decatur Township and loved to fish, watch sports, and spend time with his family and friends.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Ray (Hillie) and Amelia (Cat) Crowe, and his brother, Thomas Alvin Crowe, Sr.

Ray is survived by his nephew, Thomas Alvin (Susan) Crowe, Jr.; niece, Theresa Marie (Rick) Leibold; grandnephews, Thomas Alvin (Madeline) Crowe III; and their children, Eleanor and Benjamin, Zachary Norman Crowe (Vanessa Ianson), Samuel Richard Leibold; and grandnieces, Makenna Marie Leibold (Aaron) Mickel, and Rachel Ann Leibold.

Ray had enormous love for his family and friends and will be missed dearly.
