Randy Joe Byrd

Randy Joe Byrd of Alexandria Indiana, a beloved son, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Anderson, Indiana.

Randy was born on February 6, 1955, in Anderson, Indiana, to Thomas G. Byrd and Betty Alice Byrd. Throughout his working years, Randy was a dedicated machinist at Bright Steel Co. in Florida.

Randy is survived by his son, Ryan Draper (Rhiannon); his sister, Reta Holdcraft (John); and his six grandchildren, Levi Connely, Jonathon Brown, Ruby Draper, Sophia Draper, Maiya Draper, and Lucy Draper.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Thomas G. Byrd and Betty Alice Byrd, as well as his brothers, Richard Byrd, Roger Byrd, and Ronnie Byrd.

Though Randy has left this world, his memory will live through the family he loved and the generations that follow. He will be remembered with love and cherished in the hearts of all who knew him.
