Randall “Mark” Bickel, 68, of Anderson, passed away on October 19, 2026 in Anderson.

Mark Bickel was born in Anderson to Ralph and Ardis Bickel on March 25, 1958. He went to school at Hiawatha Grade School-Anderson IN. He married Theresa Bickel on July 17, 1982 in Alexandria Indiana. He graduated from Ivy Tech with a Degree in Heating and Air Conditioning. He worked as a Maintenance Technician for Light and Power for the City of Anderson for 30 years. He was involved in CB Operator "Big Red" and moved into Licensed HAM Operator "KC9EPE". 

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Bickel and Ardis Bickel; son, Joshua Bickel; and sisters, Carolyn Bickel and Barbara Short.

Mark is survived by his wife, Theresa Bickel; son, Keith and his wife, Natasha Bickel; brother, Richard Bickel & Wife Dicki Bickel; grandchildren, Jaisha Stanley-Bickel and Karsten Bickel; and beloved dog, Thumper.

He had a love for woodworking, and cabinetry, finding joy in working with his hands and bringing his ideas to life. His greatest passion in life was spending time with his loved ones. Mark especially loved fishing at Lake Michigan with his family. His family finds great peace in knowing he is in Heaven fishing the best lakes with his son, Josh.
