Priscilla Rose (Clements) Smith, born on February 15, 1935, in Montgomery, Indiana, passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 90. She was a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Priscilla was a 1953 graduate of St. Mary's Springs Academy. She dedicated her career to working at IU Methodist Hospital as a lab computer operator. On May 4, 1957, she married James R. Smith, with whom she shared a loving life.
Priscilla was a devoted mother and cherished her family deeply. She is survived by her children, Michael R. Smith (Krystal), Catherine R. Smith, and Kenneth R. Smith (Michele). She also leaves behind her brother Leo and sister Beverly, along with eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and loved pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra Matthew Clements and Delpha Agnes Clements, her husband James R. Smith, her son Matthew R. Smith, her daughter Brenda R. Bailey, her brother Paul "Gene" and her sister Alberta.
Priscilla loved her family, friends, coworkers and her job. She enjoyed family reunions, weekend trips, picnics, working puzzles, making afghan blankets, attending her children's sports events, IU basketball and football, drives through the countryside, family vacations, Sunday mass and she loved and enjoyed the pets she shared with her daughter.
Visitation will be held on January 20, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Nativity Catholic Church, located at 7225 Southeastern Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46239. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at the same location. Priscilla will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, located at 435 W. Troy Ave., Indianapolis.
Priscilla Rose (Clements) Smith will be remembered for her love, dedication, and the joy she brought to those around her.
