Phillip (Phil) Dewayne Brown

Phillip “Phil” Dewayne Brown, born March 20, 1949, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, at the age of 77.

Phil was a proud Army veteran who enjoyed spending his time fishing, camping, bowling, and searching for treasures at flea markets. He was a true flea market fanatic and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and spending time with those he loved.

Phil is survived by his loving wife, Anita Brown; his children, Traci (Rocky) Murray, Staci Wheeler, Nanci Moncel, Tyler Ray, and Tonya Groves; brothers Willie B. Brown and Paul C. Brown; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Bessie Brown; two sisters; nine brothers; and two great-grandchildren.

Phil will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
