Perry Scott Baxter, Sr.

Perry Scott Baxter, Sr., 62, was born on May 30, 1963, and passed away on April 7, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Scott worked for many years as a construction worker and was a proud member of the Bricklayers Union Local 120. Also know as "Batman" around the job site! He was known for his strong work ethic and the pride he took in his craft. He loved to fish, loved his Harley's, Scott lived life to the fullest, and treasured time spent with his family and friends. 
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cayla (KK) Denise Baxter; his mother, Eunice Jean Baxter; and his father, George Eagle Baxter; his nephew Dustin Michael Rhodes. 
He is survived by his son, Perry Scott Baxter, Jr. of Tucson, Arizona; his stepdaughter, Jessica Van Meter (Hill) of Edgewood, Indiana; his stepson Joshua Perry Hill of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren; his sister, Diana Parmer of Anderson, Indiana, his niece Tara Harris-Retherford (Parmer) of Elwood, Indiana; and his brother, Tim Baxter and sister‑in‑law, Jody Baxter of Englewood, Florida. A celebration of life will be held in June 2026, with details to be announced at a later date.
