The family of Peg Moore is deeply saddened to announce her passing on June 7, 2026, at the age of 70. She was born on October 27, 1955, to William and Leona Pollock in Rensselaer, Indiana. After graduating from Newton County Schools, Peg lived a full and remarkable life. She touched the hearts of everyone she met through working in education for many years, both in higher education at Earlham College and Richmond Community Schools. She then moved to Indianapolis in 1998 where she worked at a law firm for over 25 years, serving in many capacities. To so many, she was a colleague, mentor, and friend. She earned the respect and admiration of everyone who had the privilege of working with her. Outside of work, Peg found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was an avid reader who often had a book nearby. She enjoyed a good glass of wine with her closest friends and cherished time spent with family. She is survived by her partner, Steve VanBuskirk; her sons, Josh and Adam (Ashley) Moore; her sister, Cathy Miller; her grandchildren; and many cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Kurt Estes, who remained in her heart until her final day. The family would like to invite everyone to come and join them at a celebration of life that will be held at the clubhouse of Lexington Farms at 10660 Lexington Dr., Carmel, Indiana 46280 on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
