Patrick Thomas Conway, 76, of Connersville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his daughters on September 22, 2025.
Pat was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Patrick and Betty Conway on January 4, 1949. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he gained his skills in working with machine parts of all kinds. While living in Indianapolis, Indiana, he married his wife, Sue, on October 14, 1978. The family moved to Connersville in 1979 to open and operate their auto parts business for twenty years. Together, they had two daughters: Theresa and Stephanie.
Pat was a kind, funny, and loyal son, brother, husband, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a devoted worker and provider, and he took much pride in offering honest and reliable service to his customers at Conway Auto Parts and then for decades at Riedman Motors. Pat enjoyed his dogs, fishing and hiking (especially at Brookville Lake), reading, caring for his home and yard, and traveling the United States. He could fix just about anything, and was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Guardians. His most cherished memories were of spending time with his family, and joking around with his three grandsons. In Pat’s own words, he “lived a great life.”
Pat is survived by his daughter Theresa and son-in-law Randy Wilson and three grandsons Zachary, Aaron, and Samuel; daughter Stephanie Conway; sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Tom Welling; brother Danny Conway; and many nieces and nephews.
