Patricia Ann Lee

Patricia Ann Lee, the daughter of Johnny Lee Allen Sr. and Mae Ruby Crider Allen

was born July 19th, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She received her primary education at IPS school #4 and Crispus Attucks High School. Patricia attended Martin University in Indianapolis, Indiana and DeVry University in Houston, Texas where she earned her IIBA Business Analyst Certification.

Patricia was very passionate about her career as a Senior Business Analyst at NCR, formally CardTronics, where she was a Manager Business Analyst. She was with the company from 2012 until her passing. 

At an early age in life, Patricia professed a Hope in Christ and was baptized at First Free Will Baptist Church. She was rededicated with strengthened Faith and rebaptized at Eastside Seventh Day Adventist Church as an adult.

She was lovingly known as "Pat" to most, but as Memaw to her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, Bible study with her sister Betty, her ministry at nursing home facilities in Texas and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She would always say to Aliah, her first great grandchild, "what Fatty Pants wants, Fatty Pants gets!" She would say this about all of her children. Each one having their own special nickname. Memaw would start the conversation with, "Hey Love" and end it with, "Smooches." We will miss you Memaw. You are forever in our hearts. 

Patricia met her best friend Dirran Lee, who became her husband in 2013, until his untimely departure in November 2022. 

Patricia Ann Lee departed this life Friday, April 28th 2023 at the early age of 67. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, daughter Rhonda Nicole Smith, granddaughter Gabrielle Vaughn, sister Jennifer E. Allen and brother Eddie P. Allen.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Gwendolyn Ann Allen and Julia Christine Vaughn;

Sister Betty L. Reese (Willie); brothers Dale C. Allen Sr. (Tamara), Johnny L. Allen Jr. (Elayne); grandchildren Amber Oliver (Natasha); Kayla Hamilton, Carley Hamilton, Dasia Hamilton, Taylor Hamilton, Jonah Smith, Julius Clinton, Jarrett Jorgenson, Eliana Ware, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
