Patricia Ann (Kizer) Lang was born on September 5, 1942, in Wabash, Indiana to Marcella Wilson and Wayne Kizer. Pat passed away on September 2, 2026, in Fishers, Indiana.
While working and helping raise her siblings, Pat graduated from Anderson High School in 1960. She lived a life marked by dedication, service, warmth, and devotion to her family. Throughout her life, she held many roles, each reflecting her hardworking spirit and caring nature. She worked as a neighborhood babysitter, roller-skating car hop, pharmacy cashier, key punch operator, administrative assistant, historical interpreter, administrator at senior services, activities director at a nursing home, and the best pet sitter for her four-legged grandbabies. Among all the titles she held, one of her most cherished was being a mom.
Even while working full-time, Pat found a way to be the number one cheerleader for her daughters. She could be found front and center at gymnastics and dance performances, on the sidelines at soccer games, cheering for the swimmers from the pool bleachers, supporting the marching band under the lights at competitions and football games, and most importantly, she was their top supporter in everyday life.
Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years, William Lang; her daughters, Nikole Lahaie and Kelly Lang; her grandchildren, Clint Lahaie (Maggie) and Cody Lahaie; her siblings, David Kizer (Linda), James Kizer (Lucy), Pamela Eckstein (Jerry), and Vicki Suttle (Dennis); and her cousin, Terri Land (Rodger).
Pat’s life was filled with love, family, and meaningful work that touched the lives of many people throughout the different chapters of her life. Her kindness, encouragement, and generous heart will be remembered by those who knew her. Pat’s memory will live on through the family she loved so dearly and the countless lives she brightened on a daily basis.
