Patricia Irene Hoover

Patricia Irene Hoover passed away February 8. She was preceded in death by her parents Daisy (Condra) Moffatt and Clarence Moffatt. She is survived by her loving husband Donald Hoover, son Brian (Linda), daughters Beth Ann Caudill (Tony), and Lori Hoover, grandchildren Chelsea (Hogle) Carman (Brian), Alex Hogle (Rose), Morgan (Hoover) Daniel (Robert), great-grandchild Troy Daniel and sister Peggy Kessler (Louis).

Patricia was born March 11, 1939, in Indianapolis to Daisy and Clarence Moffatt. She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. Patricia married her high school sweetheart, Donald Hoover on June 2, 1958. They were married for 63 years. She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield in 1995. Patricia provided a strong foundation of love and encouragement in her home. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother, a fantastic cook, and faithful to her church. She was an avid sports fan of the Indiana Hoosiers, Indiana Pacers, and Indianapolis Colts. She was proud of her flower and vegetable gardens and spent many an hour feeding and watching her favorite hummingbirds, songbirds, hawks, and recently bald eagles! Patricia will always be loved and remembered by those who were part of her life.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15 from 11-1 at New Bethel Baptist Church, 8936 Southeastern Avenue Wanamaker, IN 46239 with burial following next door at Orchard Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the New Bethel Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
