Patricia Denise Fitzwater

Patricia Denise Fitzwater (Johnson), 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025. She was born on May 6, 1958, in Rushville, Indiana, to Bennie Lewis and Edna Grace Johnson.

Patricia was a beloved sister to Edna Cantrall (Dan) and Deborah Harshberger (Doug) , and a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her.

The greatest joy of Patricia’s life was her marriage to the love of her life, Thomas Lee Fitzwater. They were married on August 4, 1979, and shared a life grounded in love, partnership, and devotion. Together they raised three children, each of whom was the pride of her heart: Brooke Haggard (Craig), Luke Fitzwater (Kate), and Britany Steele (Camden).

Patricia’s love grew even deeper with the arrival of her grandchildren. She was a devoted and deeply loving grandmother to Ian Rolinson, Aidan Sweets, Isabella Haggard, Eleyna Haggard, Lily Fitzwater, Owen Fitzwater, and Charlotte Theobald-Steele. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Drew Rolinson and Violet Rolinson, who brought her great joy. Patricia would stop anything she was doing to help her children with their children, always placing family first.

A woman of strength and determination, Patricia was the owner of the family mechanical contracting business, PDF Mechanical PLLC. She led with integrity and care, serving both her family and community.

Above all, Patricia was a devoted lover of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She found peace and happiness in gardening, taking walks in nature, preparing meals for those she loved, and spending time with her family. Her home was a place of warmth, nourishment, and love.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Lewis and Edna Grace Johnson.

She will be remembered for her faith, her generosity, and her unwavering love for her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the family she cherished so dearly.
