Patricia Kay Davis

Patricia (Pat) Davis of Indianapolis, passed away June 1,2023, surrounded by the love of her family. Pat was born April 21, 1956, in Lima, Ohio, to William and LaDonna Davis. She was preceded in death by both parents and long-time life partner Dan McDermott. She is survived by daughter Jill Crist (Kevin Sexton), grandsons Owen and Adam Crist, brother Michael Davis(Christine), Sisters Beverly Davis Padilla (Gilbert), Billie Davis Franklin (William), three nieces, two nephews and one great-nephew.
    Pat was employed with Indiana State Parks and Inns and worked at the Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park Inn. She greatly enjoyed her time there and the friendships she made. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. No other Mother or Nana was a greater gift of unconditional love and devotion. She was a source of quiet strength and help to her family, and could usually be found washing dishes. Hearing a Pink Floyd or Eagles song will have special meaning, thrift stores will be a little more empty, Christmas lights will shine less brightly, but mostly our lives will be more empty. She will forever live on in our hearts and our memories.
