Pamela Sue 'Richard' Marker

September 18, 1943 — September 13, 2021

Pamela Sue 'Richard' Marker, 77 of Indianapolis, Indiana left this world to join the Lord on Monday, September 13, 2021. She was born September 18, 1943, to Elizabeth 'Mason' Richard and Clarence Richard in Seattle, Washington and grew up in Detroit, Michigan.

In her younger days, she loved to crochet, cross-stitch, sew, make lace, explore, crossword puzzles, and upholster furniture. She dabbled in design and did a great job until she painted the exterior trim of a Michigan cottage bright lime green that attracted every insect in the universe. It had to be repainted within a week, ending her house painting career.

She loved to study the Bible, to sing and dance. She loved her dogs. She was also a very great dresser. On certain nights, she would allow her kids to stay up as late as they wanted, this made her hugely popular. Her happiness were her children, grandchildren, friends, music, fellowship and to laugh so hard as to run to the restroom. She showed tough love and tender care.

There was a powerhouse of women who made up her army: Marlene Calley (sister), Mona Reno (cousin) and friends, Aunt Dot Majors and Mary Cummings.

When it came her time, she did not want her family to grieve. She stated she looked forward to seeing the angels, Job, Abe Lincoln, and Adam and Eve - to which the family questioned why them, the were the ones who messed it up for everyone!
She is proceeded in death by her soulmate and husband Larry Marker. Survivors are her three children: Dianna (Bart) Colvin (her favorite), Dana Overbey (her favorite), and Kenneth (Mara) Overbey (her favorite); and her three grandsons: Kai, Kaz and Keanu, (all her favorite) and all to whom she loved completely.
