Pamela Marie Smith

Pamela Marie Smith, born on November 25, 1951, peacefully departed this life on November 2, 2025, at her home. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love and dedication, having devoted herself to her family, her career, and her church throughout her 73 years. Pamela was a devoted wife to Robert Smith for 54 years, nurturing a bond that exemplified strength and partnership before he went to his heavenly home in 2022.

Her professional life as a Drywall Finishers Assistant showcased her hardworking spirit, but it was her 30 years as a daycare teacher at Mount Auburn Church that revealed her true calling. There, Pamela touched the lives of countless children, imparting not just knowledge and love while leaving an indelible mark on their formative years.

In her personal time, Pamela found joy in various activities. She enjoyed gardening, cultivating beautiful blooms that brightened her surroundings. “Sunning” brought her peace, allowing her to bask in the warmth of the sun. Cooking was not merely a necessity for Pamela; it was a way for her to express her love for her family and friends. Additionally, her passion for amateur videography captured precious moments, preserving memories in a way that her loved ones will treasure for years to come. As a member of The Light Church in Bargersville, she devoutly attended worship services and bible studies and blessed those around her by her steadfast faith and commitment to the Lord who she found later in life.

Pamela is survived by her daughters, Christiana (Jeff) Bryant of Morgantown and Brenda (Mark) Reynolds of Greenwood, a sister, Sandy Duncan of Greenwood, eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna (Cubert) Komendo, and her beloved husband, Robert "Bobby" Smith. Their memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

The family expresses their gratitude for the love and support received during this time. Pamela's life was a testament to the power of love, service, and dedication, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
