Pamela Sue Leffler

Pamela Sue Leffler, lovingly known as Pam, passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on August 27, 2026. She was born on September 18, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pam was a 1973 graduate of George Washington High School. Over the years, she worked a variety of jobs, including more than five years as a pharmacy technician and another five years working security for FedEx. She carried herself with a kind and giving spirit, and those who knew her will remember her as generous toward others, passionate about her faith, and deeply caring in the way she lived each day.

One of the proudest joys of Pam’s life was marrying the love of her life, Gary Leffler, on August 4, 1974. Together they shared more than 50 years of marriage, building a life centered on love and family. Gary preceded her in death, and their enduring bond remains a treasured part of her story.

Pam found happiness in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. She enjoyed a memorable trip to Ireland and looked forward to yearly trips to Florida with family. She loved spending time with her friends, and her home was often warmed by her cooking, especially the pork chops she made so well for her family. Pam also had a special fondness for Elvis, collecting Elvis dolls and Barbie dolls, and she loved the spirit of the 1950s. Her love for animals was another reflection of her gentle heart.

Above all, Pam will be remembered for the love she gave to her family. She is survived by her daughters, Jessica (Barry Garth) Leffler, Jennifer Wilson, and Jamie Leffler; her son, Justin Leffler; her sisters, Brenda (Joe) Craig and Sandy Morgan, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind the many memories, traditions, and affections that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, Gary Leffler, Pam was preceded in death by her father, James Gilbert, and her mother, Nancy Gilbert.

Visitation will be held on September 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel, 2433 E. Main St., Greenwood, IN 46143. A funeral service will follow there at 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held later that day at 3:00 p.m. at West Newton Cemetery, 6701 Milton St, West Newton, IN 46183.

Pamela Sue Leffler will be remembered with love for her warmth, her faith, her devotion to her family, and the joy she found in the people and things she cherished most.
