Orval Robert Enlow

Orval Robert Enlow, affectionately known as “Robert” or “Butch,” passed away at his home on July 11, 2025, at 7:27 a.m. He was 76 years old.

Robert was born on June 14, 1949 at St. Francis Hospital, to Orval Enlow Jr. and Louise Enlow. He was raised in Indiana and graduated from Eminence High School, where he enjoyed playing basketball. Throughout his life, Robert was known for his strong work ethic, mechanical skill, and quiet generosity.

He worked as a machinist and NDT inspector, spending much of his career at Rolls Royce from 1995 until his retirement in 2013. His colleagues remember him as diligent, dependable, and respected in his field.

Robert was married to Patty Fogle, with whom he shared a lasting and loving relationship. The couple was married twice—first on September 9, 1981, and again on June 2, 2009—symbolizing a bond that endured and deepened over time.

A man of deep interests and simple pleasures, Robert loved playing golf in his younger years, fishing, riding his mower, and watching NASCAR racing. Most of all, he cherished his time with family. His greatest pride was being a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a man of faith and a member of the Baptist church.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Patty Fogle; his son, Sean Enlow; and his daughters, Starlett Fogle and Jennifer Enlow. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who will carry forward his memory and legacy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orval and Louise Enlow; his sister, Mary Jane Enlow; and his brother, Richard Enlow.

Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His warmth, integrity, and love for his family leave an enduring legacy.

A public visitation will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel from 11:00AM-1:00PM. A memorial service to follow immediately after.
