Ninalou (Hart) Isaacson, age 90, passed away on April 23, 2020.
Ninalou was born in Princeton, IN to Jesse M. and Ruth Ann (Ropp) Hart.
She was a 1951 graduate of DePauw University, studying Home Economics. She met her husband, Lee Isaacson, in college and they were married after she graduated.
Lee and Ninalou lived in Chicago before relocating to Indianapolis. Ninalou worked for P.R. Mallory as a bookkeeper. Later she joined Lee in his work as a manufacturer’s representative, keeping records, schedules, and files timely and in order. Lee and Ninalou were active in the Indianapolis Shrine where Lee played in the band. Their participation took them on many enjoyable trips together. They attended Northminster Presbyterian Church.
Ninalou enjoyed raising poodles, gardening, bird watching, card-playing, mall walking, and entertaining friends. She was a beloved resident of Forum at the Crossing.
A memorial service will be held graveside at Union Chapel Cemetery on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
Memorial contributions should be directed to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
