Nelson "Frank" Chrisman Jr.

Nelson Franklin “Frank” Chrisman Jr., 62, Indianapolis, passed away July 28, 2023. He was born January 13, 1961 in Ranson, WV to the late Pete Chrisman and the late Pat (Knotts) Logan. Frank, a member of First Christian Church of Noblesville, IN, was married to Lana (Crouch) Chrisman for 28 years.

Frank attended Lincoln Technical Institute and was an auto mechanic. Later, he was a chef at Salvatore’s Ristorante, and a semi-truck owner/operator for 29 years. He loved cooking, fishing, doing mechanical work, driving his semi, and spending time with his family.

Frank is survived by his wife Lana, sons, Zachary and Matthew Chrisman of Indianapolis, IN; brothers, Jeffrey Chrisman of Columbia, MD, Kevin Chrisman of Williamsport, IN, and Eddie (Jen) Chrisman of Martinsburg, WV; sisters, Ann Chrisman of Antioch, TN, Kristina Chrisman of Charles Town, WV, Marie Logan of FL, Patty Logan of NC, and Regina Logan of IN; stepmother, Ginger Chrisman of Martinsburg, WV.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Jesse Logan; brothers-in-law, Allan and Bruce Crouch.

 Visitation will be Wed., August 2 from noon to 2 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care Harry Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indpls. IN, with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Graveside service and burial will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery, 8301 Union Chapel Rd., Indpls., IN.
