Neil E. Stowe

Neil Edward Stowe, 84, went to his eternal home on September 4, 2021. He was born on September 5, 1936, to George Benjamin Luther Stowe and Mary Ann (Males) Stowe. He graduated from Lima South High School in 1954.

Neil served 3 years in the U.S. Navy achieving the rank of 3rd Class Fire Control Technician. He married the "love of his life" Lela Biddle on August 27, 1960. He retired from Naval Air Warfare Center after 30 years. After retiring he gave tours as a volunteer for Indiana Landmark.

Neil was a member for over 40 years of Indian Creek Christian Church more recently a member of Rocklane Christian Church. He was also a member of National Active and Retired Employees, Indiana Landmarks, American Legion, and the Moose Lodge. Neil enjoyed genealogy, ballroom dancing, traveling to all 50 states, cruising, and entertaining and cooking for friends and family.

Neil leaves to mourn, his wife Lela; son, Darin Lee Stowe of Indianapolis; daughter, Rachelle Lynn Paurich of Waynesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Alexis Stowe, Darian Morrow, and Jazmyn Andrews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Rocklane Christian Church, 4430 Rocklane Road, Greenwood starting at 2:00 pm with visitation starting at 12:00 pm. The family has asked that everyone practice social distancing and wear masks while attending.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Rocklane Christian Church or The American Cancer Society.
