Nathaniel Rascoe Allen

Nathaniel R. Allen, 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana Marion County passed away on July 14, 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana Marion County.

Nathaniel R. Allen was born June 3, 1952 to Zellee Allen and Anne Lee Allen. He went to school at Arsenal Technical High School. He is survived by ex-wife Jerelene. He worked as a Heater Man for Citizens Energy Group for many years until retirement. Nathaniel accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. Nathaniel enjoyed reading his bible, Basketball, being at the gym, walking, word puzzles, and spending time with family.

Nathaniel is preceded in death by Paul Allen (brother); Rosetta Davis (sister); DeEster White (sister).

Nathaniel is survived by children and spouses, Marsha Allen-Miller (Anthony), Felicia Moore (Dion Sr.), Shurice Spivey; his brothers, Willie Allen (Melvina), Zellee Allen, Timothy Allen, and Titus Allen; his sisters, Rosie Dirton (J.C). Martha Carter, Mary Corbin (Willie), Ruthie Walls (Marshall); Marketta Thomaston; his grandchildren, Shaniquwa, Shaniea, Kamren (Anna), Micheal, Monte, Jaylyn, Danae, Raven-Simmone, Raneighya, Dion Jr, Jerry, Kempous, Kevin, Keshyon; his great grandchildren, Shayla, Daniella, Brent Jr. Nijol, Quinton Jr., Peyton, Zyaire, Amira, Zola, Zavia, Monte Jr, Gabriell.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care East, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46219. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM also at the funeral home. Nathaniel will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
