Nancy Jo Hoover, 86, of Carmel, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024. She was born July 27, 1937 in Kokomo, IN to the late Nathan Ross Bourne and Josephine (Philapy) Bourne.
She attended Kokomo area schools and graduated from Northwestern High School. Post graduation Nancy was employed by the Kokomo School System and later held varying office positions. She married Wendell C. Hoover (deceased) and they resided in Indianapolis. During that time she worked as the House Secretary for the Indiana State Department. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and especially caring for their many animals over the years. Nancy was known by her neighbors and friends for her thoughtful and generous nature.
A private burial will be held.
