Nancy Bowen

Nancy Bowen, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at the age of 80. She was surrounded by the love of her family and friends in her final moments.

Born on December 3, 1944, in Sewickley, PA, Nancy was the daughter of Robert and Jane Wolford. She grew up in Indianapolis, IN, and carried the values of kindness, strength, and resilience throughout her life.

Nancy devoted her life to her family, raising her children with unconditional love, wisdom, and a quiet strength that held everyone together. She was known for her warm smile and generous heart, and she touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Her greatest pride and joy came from being a wife, a mother, a “Grammy” and a “Nana.” Whether she was baking her famous birthday cakes for her grandchildren, sewing her bowl cozies, or listening without judgment, she gave of herself fully and selflessly.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Robert Wolford, and her brothers, Bobby and David. She is survived by her husband Greg Bowen, brother Roger Wolford, daughters Jill O’Donnell (Tom) and Kristy Andrews (Kent), five grandchildren, one great-grandson. Stepdaughters Claudia Robinson (Eric), Michelle Sollberger (Darren), 4 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
