Millicent A. Baker

The Lord took her home on August 29th, 2026, after a short illness. She is now with her beloved husband Larry in Heaven. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Long (Chuck) and Debbie Hood (Mark); her grandchildren, Stefanie Grace (Marlin), Sheldon Emberton (Brittany), Steven Emberton, and Doug Long (Stephanie); and her seven great-grandchildren.

As a member of the Greater Indianapolis Deaf Club for over 65 years, she was an active volunteer on numerous committees. She was also an avid card player; she was a member of her euchre club for over 50 years. She also enjoyed monthly poker games.

A private ceremony will be held at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Indianapolis Deaf Club or your favorite charity.
