Michael Alan Theising

Michael Alan Theising, 70, died at home on September 10, 2023. Mike was born November 28, 1952, to Gregory B. and Ann E. Theising. He graduated from Chatard High School in 1970 and received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue College. After a brief career with Anaconda Wire, Mike suffered a spinal cord injury and became physically challenged.

Mike married Brenda Eaton and had a daughter Heather (David) Douglas and two grandchildren, Lacey and Colt. Mike is survived by his brother Marc (Joyce) Theising, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Mike enjoyed life and its challenges and managed to help others less fortunate. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a long-time parishioner of St. Pius X Church.

Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, from 10am-11am at St. Pius X Church, Indianapolis, with service following. Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
