Michael Gregory Minor

Michael Gregory Minor was born on August 10, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 78. A resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew him. His life reflected steady devotion, a faithful spirit, and the dignity of someone who understood the value of showing up, working hard, and caring well for others.

Michael served in the United States Army from September 1967 to 1969.

Michael was married to Jacine Scott. He was the youngest child of his parents, Isadore and Roberta Minor. Through the years, he built a family that was a source of pride and purpose, and his presence as a beloved husband, father, and grandfather will be felt for generations.

Michael is survived by his children: Toni, Lester, Ebony, Princess, Martha, Michelle, Roberta, and Monique; along with many grandchildren and other family members and friends. He is also remembered with love by nieces and nephews, Tomika, Tammy, Scott and Junior and his great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held at Indiana Funeral Care West on July 17, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m.
