Michael Allen “Mike” Ledford age 48 of Greenfield, passed away Thursday May 18,2023 at Ascension St Vincent Heart Center -Carmel.

He was born November 6, 1974, in Laurinburg, North Carolina to David Terry Ledford and Margaret Mary (Johannigman) Ledford, he graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 1993. Michael owned and operated Ledford Apparel of Hancock County .

He had a passion for music and love to play from his collection of guitars even beating the drums from time to time, he enjoyed camping, hiking, looking for rocks and arrowheads with his friends and family, as well as spending Saturdays at his mom’s sneaking that last cookie or donut she just made! 

While sick and on kidney dialysis, Mike still earned his black belt in “jeet kune do“

Proof that he is a fighter.

Michael was a very spiritual man, always keeping his faith in God and praying daily.

Michael is survived by his mother, Margaret Mary Ledford of Charlottesville and brothers, Robert W Ledford (Lisa) of Greenfield, David “Davey” Ledford of Charlottesville, and Eric Ledford of Charlottesville. 

Nieces Magin Ledford and Kaylee Ledford, Nephew Cameron Ledford 

Preceded in death by his father, David Terry Ledford.
