Michael (Mike) John Renner, age 74 of Fishers Indiana passed away on Sunday December 8, 2019 quickly after a recent Cancer diagnosis. He passed peacefully with his sons by his side.
Mike was born Aug 22, 1945 in Springfield, Minnesota where he was raised by Max and Muriel (Wood) Renner and spent his entire adolescent life in small town Minnesota.

He is survived by his sons Rick Renner (Katie) of Oak Park, IL and Aaron Renner ( Kristin) of Sunbury, OH as well as his siblings; Jim Renner ( Linda) , Jane Maurer ( John) , and Tom Renner.

He was the extremely proud Grandfather to Taylor, Max, Ella, Jack, and Mickey Renner, they were his pride and joy. He was Uncle Mike to 12 nieces and nephews.

Mike attended college at Augustana College and then married Phyllis Arnson Renner of Williston, ND. They celebrated 25 years of marriage before her passing in 2004.

Mike was a Midwest man living in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio and finally Indianapolis. He was a social and personable guy who always had a good story full of detail.
Mike was an avid golfer , football fan, and enjoyed fishing with his brothers. Family and friends were his favorite past time and he will be missed by many.
He could be found on Friday nights at Eddie’s with his loyal friends or in Chicago or Ohio visiting his sons, attending various events of his grandkids. He was always present.

Mike will be laid to rest in Springfield, Minnesota and memorialized in 2020.
