Mary Ann Bryant passed away at 80 years old on June 29, 2026, in Indianapolis, IN. Mary was born on January 19, 1946, in Gary, IN to John and Charlotte Ruth Flournoy. She attended and graduated from Froebel High School in 1964.

Mary was united in Holy Matrimony to Henry L. Bryant Sr. and was blessed with 3 beautiful children, Anita, Clifford and Henry Jr. She worked for Premier Candy Co. in Hammond, IN, of which they were known for their Chocolate Covered Turtles. She was employed there until their closing.

She loved spending time with her family. Her favorite things to do were playing BINGO, YAHTZZ and going to the Casino. She would enjoy her "ICE COLD PEPSI" and Chunky Chip Ahoy cookies. Her grandchildren affectionately called her "Maw-Maw" and she loved it.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving sons Clifford (Tammy) Durham, Henry Bryant Jr. (SF-Janeen Johnson), 14 grandchildren: Johnny Boyland, Kenya Durham, Emilia (Imani) Toney, Jasmine Johnson, Louis Cathey, Elexus Bryant, Kendrick Johnson, Joey, Chris, Marcus and Neveah Vinardi, Ajontae Bryant, Naomi Bryant and "Yasmine Bryant." (8) Great Grandchildren, (4) Sisters: Elmagene (Richard) Hoffman, Cheryle Durham, Henrietta Johnson and Liberty (William) Allen. Sister-In-Law Shirley Ann Flournoy. (2) Bonus Daughters: LayraShaunda Williams and Shalonda Ham and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Charlotte Flournoy, her husband, Henry Bryant Sr., her daughter, Anita Marie Bryant, her brothers, John and Orville Flournoy, her sister Carlotta McDonald and nephews, Edward Johnson, John Flournoy, Jason & Marcus Durham.
