Martez Lamont Proctor

Martez Lamont Proctor, 32, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on Tuesday, January 1, 1991, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Martez was a loving, outgoing, big hearted, funny guy. He was the best husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was always the life of the party.

Martez is preceded in death by his daughter, Alaya Marie Proctor, and many other loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Cassandra Proctor who is expecting their son, Ryze Lamont Proctor; daughter Aria Mae Proctor; son, Landan Andrew Lockel; parents, Linda & DeWayne Hardeman; sisters, Shaina & Sierra Hardeman; nieces, Shaniya & Michaela Williams; and a maternal grandmother, Pinkie Proctor.

A letter from his niece:

Hey bub, it’s your first niece Shaniya aka “princess” is what you called me. I’m going to miss you so much this don’t even feel real... I’m going to miss you and your vibes, the fast car rides bumpin Lil Uzi Vert, you finishing my food and us just laughing you was to supposed to teach me how to drive and flip. I’m gunna keep you on my mind all day everyday imma keep bumping Uzi for you. I love you sooo much bub… We’re going to protect baby boy for you too because you were so excited to have a boy.

Visitation is Saturday, May 20, 2023, 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm.
