In Loving Memory of Mark Thomas Fitman

Mark Thomas Fitman passed away surrounded by the love and memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He was a deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many. Music was a lifelong part of Mark’s story. In his younger years, he shared his passion for music as a member of several bands, creating memories and music that stayed with him throughout his life. Even as the years passed, Mark never stopped making music. He created music for television shows as well as for children with disabilities. It remained a part of who he was—a source of joy, expression, and connection. 

In recent days, Mark reaffirmed his dedication to God, finding renewed faith and comfort in his relationship with God. His faith, his love for his family, and the music he carried in his heart will remain an important part of his legacy. Mark will be remembered for the love he gave, the music he created, the memories he made, and the lives he touched. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his Wife, Olufunke Julianah Fitman, his son, Dylan and wife Nichole; his grandchildren, River, Micah, and Serenity; his Stepson, Olanrewaju Joshua and his children; Olamiposi, Kimberly, Britney, Sean & Reign, his brother, Sonny and his children; along with extended family and dear friends who will continue to cherish his memory. Though Mark is no longer with us, the love he shared, the music he made, and the faith he reaffirmed will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May his soul rest in perfect peace in the Bossom of the Lord. Amen
