Marguerite Cecile Caldwell

Marguerite Mason Caldwell, age 84 passed away on September 18, 2026. Born in Bedford, IN to Thomas Franklin Mason Jr, and Anna Marie Daugherty Mason. Known to most as Maggie, she loved to travel, read, cook, and spend time with family and friends. She practiced nursing for 50 years after graduating from St. Vincent School of Nursing in 1963. She was happy in her career, "never hated going to work". 

She continued her education, earning a BS from the College of St. Francis in 1989 and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1991.

She was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Marie and Mary Caldwell, her parents, sisters, Judith Leah Mason Olsen and Mary Joseph Mason Rotella, sister-in-law Donna M. Olsen, brother-in-law Paul V. Rotella, and grand-niece Madison L. Meador. 

She is survived by her sister-in-law Eileen Olsen, brother-in-law Edward Olsen, niece Eleanor Meador (Jason), nephews Edward V. Olsen III, Joshua P. Rotella, Benjamin J. Rotella (Emily), and Zachary D. Rotella, grand-nieces Leah Meador Richards (Clint), and Lora Rotella, grand-nephew Theodore Rotella, and great grand-nieces Isla and Claire Richards. 

No service is planned and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
