Margaret Lucille Smith

Margaret Lucille (Elswick) Smith, 98, Indianapolis, Indiana passed from this earth into life everlasting with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday, July 28, 2025.

Margaret was born in Cinco, West Virginia to Lewis and Sabie Elswick on July 24, 1927. She had one child, Donna Farrell, on March 11, 1948. Margaret lived a full life, loving her Lord, family, and friends. She was a lifetime member of Liberty Christian Church in Charleston, West Virginia and her grandfather, Hershel Hicks was the founder. She loved taking walks and reading. Her laughter and smile filled a room.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Sabie, brothers, Millard, Herbert, and sister, Dola.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Donna Farrell (George); grandchildren, Michael Shane, Kelly Renee, Ashley Nichole, Jacob Daniel; eleven great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren and one on the way.
