Margaret Roach

Margaret Roach, cherished mother, grannie and great-grannie, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on September 13, 1954, in Lee County, Kentucky.

Margaret is survived by her children, Lori Sue Coy (James), Jimmy Lee Capps Jr. (Joy), Cindy Lynn Davis (Matt), and Jennifer Faye Amburn (Bobby). Her pride extended warmly to her grandchildren: Bryce Huddleston, Zachary Huddleston, Tyler Capps (Emma), Devin Capps, Gabe Capps (Ali), Aaron Tilley, Brady Capps, Isaiah Capps, Kayla Davis, Elijah Davis, and Clara Amburn and great granddaughter, Bronwyn. Margaret is also survived by her siblings, Thomas Junior Roach (Teresa), Marie Lyons, Billy Roach, Jimmy Roach (Trish), Terry Roach, and Betty Capps (Cornell).

Margaret was very talented in many areas including: crochet, sewing, painting and jewelry making. She spent much of her free time crocheting blankets, stuffed animals and prayer blankets for cancer patients, which she donated to local hospitals. Her generosity was quiet and unassuming, but she enjoyed helping others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Dixie (Horn) Roach, her brother Johnny Lee Roach, and brother-in-law Robert Lyons.

To honor Margaret's life and legacy, friends and family are invited to a visitation on April 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., both held at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel, located at 2433 E. Main St., Greenwood, Indiana 46143.

Margaret lived a simple, quiet life. She will be remembered for her generosity and thoughtful ways she chose to share with others.
