In Loving Memory of Lynda Marie Neese

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Lynda Marie Neese, who departed this life on September 17th, 2025, at the age of 65. She passed, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering strength.

Born on November 30th, 1959, in Washington DC, Lynda was a radiant soul whose warmth and compassion touched everyone she met. She was a devoted daughter, a loyal friend, mother, wife and above all, a cherished sister whose presence brought light & happiness into our lives.

Lynda had a passion for collecting “treasures”, antiques, and collectibles and had love for her dogs & cats over the years. She cherished her family and was especially grateful to her grandchildren, Henry & Gavin.

She is survived by her husband James, son Justin (Courtney) Weintraut and their children Henry and Gavin. Sister Kris (Scott) Brannan, brother Michael (Nicole) Leslie. Nephews Ryan Harrison and Sam Leslie. Niece Iza Leslie. The family will carry her memories forward with love and gratitude. She was preceded in death by her mother Susan Bodman and her father Charles Hurdle.

A celebration of Lynda’s life will be held on Friday October 3rd, 2025, at 2:00PM at Indiana Funeral Care, where friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the beautiful life she lived. Service to follow at 3:00PM.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing that Lynda’s spirit lives on in the lives she touched. Her kindness, courage, and laughter will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, dear sister. You will always be loved, always remembered, and forever missed.
