Lucas Scott Nix, 33 of Indianapolis, IN, passed away at home on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Luke was born on October 13, 1988, in Indianapolis. He is the son of Scott (Tammy) Nix and Bridget (Chad) Wethington. He is also survived by his siblings Hunter (Shelby) and Dalton Nix, Jake, Zach and Matt Tucker, Abigail and Jakob Wethington; nephew, Kannon Tucker; niece Nova Grace, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He had two fur babies Blue and Jaida he loved more than life. Luke was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Don and Patricia Nix, Richard and Kathleen Armstrong, and Uncle, Danny Nix.

Luke graduated in 2007 from Tri-West High School. He was a kind, gentle soul who had a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back. His smile was infectious. He was such a funny person and knew how to cheer you up whether you needed it or not. Everyone who really knew him, loved him. Luke loved baseball from the age of 4. He talked about coaching little kids and he would have been a great one. He was an Indianapolis Colts fan and loved sports in general. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
